Well that title is a bit of a mounthful so I'll try to explain it a bit better.. I placed a couple of articles on my article site and they got picked up by a publisher who placed them on his site, thanks to the wonder of Google alert I was informed about this and checked the article ..the links weren't live. In fact non of the links on the articles which seem to be the only content have live links I have emailed him a polite email asking him to make the links live, but what else can i do If he doesn't comply?? Email all the other authors whose work he's using? Hire an elite band of Ninja hackers to take down his site..or just leave the Leach to rot in his own festering vomit
I had the same experience. I emailed to the webmaster and politely request for the links to be live. Generally, the webmasters comply except one who decided to remove my entire article. If webmasters refuse, you can send them reminders but I don't think you can force it down their throats..
Actually, not having the links means they are basically stealing the content. Next stop is their web host. Most hosts don't want to be involved in what is a potential lawsuit and it usually produces quick results. You can always report it to Google although rarely is anything done. I have seen them drop the offending pages but it is typically when there is a much more serious offence. The first option usually works the best.
i have another problem. on goarticles.com seems that many articles don't have the links live (example1, example2 and many many others). i personally make them live but who knows, maybe I'm getting wrong, we can't change the content
You have to use anchor text on goarticles You can edit anything you submitted though, just log in and it will allow you to change them
sorry for my expression. english is not my primary language i'm not the author but i have many dating, technology and travel related sites and i put free articles on this sites. when i find one article in which the author doesn't put his links live i presume that he forgot or he didn't know how to do this(?) and i make the links live for him. so if he write www. visitmysite.com on the end of the articles, i put an <a href=....> to make the links live. now i'm sure i make me explain. this is why i've said that maybe i did it wrong but if he is not intrested in geting another IBL why he wrote the article?
That's what I do as well when I find articles without live links... We all know that authors write articles to obtain backlinks as well as visitors...
Yeah, I know how this feels... There is a moron here on the forum that sells article based sites and never gives credit to the authors. Every time I question him about it he just changes the subject. Pathetic
