Hello all publishers. As you've probably seen, ClickBank added a new feature for adding pictures on the order page. The result: an awesome looking page like this one. It should help conversions since it'll make customers calm about what they're paying for, since some publishers have very reassuring product names like CB-blabla11. To add images, go to your ClickBank account and click on the "Account Settings" tab. From there go to the new "My Images" link. On the images window, upload an image (requirements: min. size: 20 x 20, max. size: 100 x 100, max. file size: 20KB). Give the image a name you'll remember (preferably not "Image 1"). From there your image will go to the approval team (what an interesting job) which will probably approve your image (unless you've uploaded something wrong). Notice: they don't notify you about these approvals on email (or at least haven't notified me). After your image is approved go to the "My Products" link and choose the product you want to apply the picture to. Click on the edit button, and on the window that opens choose your image. Accept the change and go to your order window, which now has an image. The complete ClickBank FAQ for images: right here. Good luck, nadavs
well they had been testing this for a while and apparently conversions were a fair bit better (I was told this by somebody at clickbank, not through the grape vine) and apparently only ~20% of people that hit the order page actually makes the purchase.. If that goes up just 1% then its worth it.
It doesn't seem like much, but i think it will help. Most my affiliates already added their logo or box product to their order page. Vene
Great feature. I have been waiting for this feature from a long time. This helps to remove the confusion in customers and definitely improves sales. (you can find a product image and title example at the order form for the vendor nickname 'downlod'. http://xxxxx.downlod.hop.clickbank.net) Thank you
has anybody noticed an increase in conversions from this? All of my products will have the image on the order pages on monday.. cant wait to see if it has an effect on conversions
In my niche, it can only help. Most of my customers have never purchased an ebook before. This will make them a little more confident when they're forwarded to a new site to enter credit card numbers. At least they'll see the continuity.
I never knew that you could link someone directly to the order page? I thought you could only link them via the hop affiliate link? Or am I missing something here?
It is a great feature! I occasionally purchase CB products and sometimes I click on "BACK" button to make sure I am buying the correct product - since, as you mentioned, "CB-blahblah-01" does not tell me what it is!.. As more I go into the Internet Marketing game - I notice more little details that will result in better conversions if implemented correctly - yet publishers pass up on those... This frustrates me as an affiliate. Alex
I put a picture up a couple of days ago - so far my conversions are down. However - 2 days is not long enough to conduct an accurate test. I think the slow down may be from a recent google slap. I'll let you know in another week.
Yes you can link directly to the order page. See here: http://www.clicknewz.com/1198/clickbank-affiliate-tip-direct-link-to-checkout/
got mine too - http://www.curefortinnitus.com/order.php I will see if conversions go up because of it
