I'm a soon-to-be publisher and would like to know ahead of time how you refund a customer's money. Say I get an email to my personal email account, requesting a refund. I confirm the details and want to refund the customer. How's it work?
You can either send their reciept to clickbank and ask them to refund it or just tell the person who wants a refund to contact refunds @ clickbank.com so they can get a refund
A customer should directly contact clickbank for refund or you can contact click bank with details. Clickbank takes action immediately.
but how do we know if we should really give a refund. Anyone can claim a refund after they buy a product regardless if they work or not right? please enlighten me.
When someone buy a CB product, they automatically have up to 60 days money back guarantee and no question will be asked when they ask for a refund. I know it sucks but this is CB policy. I remember couple months ago, CB refunded my commission to a client after she has bought a product for more than 60 days. CB told me that, they had to do it, because the customer sent her credit card company after them. So it does not really matter if the product really works, you just need to hope that your customer is not a thief. When you start making money on CB, you will not really pay attention to those refunds Good luck Mega
The policy is "no questions asked." If someone asks for a refund, I give it to them. But I do tell them to delete all materials from their computer - just as a scare tactic. You and I know there's nothing I can do about them keeping it on their computer - but a lot of "normal" people don't know that. In the future I want to have a membership site where I can ban people who get a refund.
