I was taking a look at some CB products today, and out of curiosity, I clicked on a few sites of the individuals that had given testimonials. Now, I understand that people lose interest in developing their sites or let them expire, etc. However, this should not be the case if you are claiming that the product in question has made you X amount of money for your website! I came across 3 such sites. Two of the sites had expired and the other had not paid their hosting bill ! I may be one of the few who click these links, but regardless, your product loses credibility when such events happen.
What's wrong with that links expiring? The owner became so rich that he quit his internet marketing career and forgot to renew the domain. Some product owners are simply neglecting their responsibility for their customers and their affiliates. It can be on credibility or anything else. It's really sad to see a good product with such low quality treatment. nadavs
I'm going to go grab some of my domains that I don't use - and put up a dummy front page that will be universal for all publishers. "I use to own this website - but the product that I endorsed which linked you here has already made me my millions, so I took this site down, I don't work anymore, and now this is used only to help that product and publisher in return for making me a gazillionare, you should buy it too... maybe someday you'll have a pages just like this!". Agreed though - a publisher linking to expired or offline domains does make you lose credibility quickly (this guy tried my program, and now he's nowhere to be found - chances are he/she DIDN'T make a dime with this). Good call Anarmyofme NC.
