What do you think about health related products? The self-help things. I'd love to get feedback from both publishers and affiliates who are in this field.

They sell well (FatLoss4Idiots good example), but the niche is really tough. It's like make money online market.

I was thinking more of the less saturated things - the anxiety, stress relief, etc.

Health and Beauty is not a niche it is an industry and the "Niches" of this industry are very profitable, of course some of them because of the nature, people are desperate and want fast solutions to their problems, and it doesn't matter how competitive a niche is if you have a good marketing strategy and a really good product that sells well. ;)

    Inz said it.

When someone is crying over an ugly face of spots or sick of being a fat shit, they'll pretty much do anything to cure it. a $20 ebook or so wont stop them.

As I moved into publishing, I choose the health industry for specific reasons. One of those reasons was the consistency they can provide. They are rather easy to promote and do not suffer high refunds. Faclez was dead on when he said that lower gravity products do well also. (and you can actually go much lower than 20 and find profitable campaigns)

If you are doing ppc, costs are pretty reasonable and content network can payoff much better than it does in most niches.

I plan on releasing more products in the health industry in 2009. As a matter of fact, I have one approved right now that I am in the testing stage on.
