Publisher Product Delivery Question

Being a publisher, what's the best way to have your product actually delivered to the customer? And how would I go about doing this?

I've got the Pitch page and Thank You page done and I'm stuck at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

Personally I have a download link on the thankyou page, also I have an autoresponder subscriber form that they can optionally optin to to receive future updates.

brooks27's method works fine if you choose a unique name for your thank you page and change it after every sale.

A scripted solution where the actual location of the file is never revealed and that expires after a set period of time is much easier.

    Hi Deeguy1,

ColbyT is spot on . . . It's very important you protect your download/thank-you page location not only because people will give it out, but because the Alexa Traffic Search engine actually indexes them, regardless of having a No Robots/No Index meta tag.

See the first link in my Sig for a relatively easy solution.

    Regards,
    Perry Wolf.

i just posted this to another thread:
This way you have a single thank you/download page, but only those who have made a purchase can view it, otherwise if someone manually types in or links to the url you can redirect them away (i suggest lemonparty :) )

    Hey deeguy,

I'm surprised that Clickbank didn't tell you how to do it. Here's how they told me to do it for my own ebook sales:

    1. Put your PDF link on your Thank You page.

    2. This Thank You page is what buyers will immediately see once they finish paying at PayPal.

    3. I created a file of my PDF thru my web hosting site (GoDaddy). I just put that PDF link on my Clickbank Thank you page.

    Hope this helps!
