Publisher ID

I was just looking through my adsense account and noticed that under "Property Info" my publisher id #'s were listed as:

    AdSense for Content: ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    AdSense for Search: partner-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Referrals: ca-ref-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

But in my adsense code on my websites, the publisher id's don't have the "ca" in front of "pub". I still have been generating revenue so I guess it's okay but why the difference?

edit: I'm in the U.S. (not Canada), btw

Yes, the "ca" part does not get added.

The code that google generates for you in adsense is perfectly fine, so I'd recommend using that.

I think ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx are just the same.
