If you take a look at the times, you will see that there is no way I could have written that detailed of a post in a few minutes between when the other guy posted and when I did. It was a simple coincidence that we posted so close together. I am an established member of this community. There is no reason for me to make a second account to vent my frustrations. I really dont mind if you want to use PAN. I just wanted to state my experiences so that other people can make an informed decision before they decide on publisher ad network.
Lol modrewgnu does have not any duplicate accounts here and I experienced something very similiar to him. I wouldn't reccomend these guys either. They change their rates and change the agreed payment terms. They claim to be apart of Jawa.com which is a multi hundred million dollar corporation so it seems kinda odd that they can't give their publishers a few hundred bucks without hassle. Stay away from these guys.
Errrr... There's an account under one name and said "look at how they screwed me at publisheradnetwork.blogspot.com" Then you posted under your name (modrewgnu) with a post that was nothing more than the article at the URL provided above copied and pasted into the post. Both accounts said "look at how they screwed me" and told the exact same story, word for word. So either way, one of you is lying and trying to use someone else's story as their own. Given that your name is in the actual blog post, I'm guessing it's whomever is posting under the publisheradnetwork username that is stealing your story and claiming that it happened to them. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. The way PAN has changed their rates has been frustrating. However, even now they're still among the best rates for lower paying niches that most CPM networks abandon. If they drop it down any further though then there won't be much reason to use them. I've not had the same issues with payments as one or two others reporting here have. I've been paid 5 times by them now without missing one. I can vouch for modrewgnu that they also told me the same thing about their tracking software going down while they upgraded it, but they paid me significantly *more* than I was due to earn, not less.
You are wrong. We are not the same person. I had a totally different experience with them. You can read about it here at publisheradnetwork.blogspot.com
i wasnt using his story as my own.. i posted his story on my blog so readers can also view other people's negative experiences. If you would stop and read the title instead of quickly making assumptions, you would see the title clearly says "What "modrewgnu" Had To Say About PAN" ... not what I had to say... WHAT MODREWGNU had to say...
Strange but true, There is no option to reset your password. I had made account on this site very before. At that time it was even not properly designed. But now its professionally designed and THERE IS NO OPTION TO RESET PASSWORD!
It appears to be a legitimate company. Two things that worried me: (1) Despite the fact that PAN has an "office" feel, with a receptionist answering calls, the mailing address is a UPS Store. (2) My sign-up bonus was delayed twice. However, it has been very, very easy to get ahold of my account manager and I believe the delayed payments were honest mistakes. Here's what's right about Publisher Ad Network: 1) The account manager I have is very knowledgeable and courteous. PAN insists on talking to potential publishers on the telephone first. If it were just in it for fast cash, it would make no sense to do this. I believe they want to attract quality publishers and get all the facts straight up front for both parties' sake. 2) The rates are realistic. My gaming site is paid a certain rate and my non-gaming site is paid a much lower rate. I was not promised high rates and easy money. 3) Most convincingly: I was paid today for both the sites I have in the network. Since I was not expecting payment until next week, it made for a pleasant surprise. And how often do you get pleasant surprises in the world of CPM? Here are my suggestions: 1) Only apply if you have quality traffic and are prepared to work with a professional agency to fill your available space. I don't want to see PAN swamped with a bunch of accounts where publishers break the rules and send garbage traffic then cry about being scammed. 2) Only apply if you have a quality gaming site. I would hold off if it's a non-gaming site until PAN announces they are concentrating in more areas. 3) Do not use PAN as your top-tier network if you can help it. PAN will fill 100% of your available ad slots, so make it a backup for ContextWeb or another ad agency.
How i couldn't agree more. I posted up my payment proof for the sign up already. I was paid only 2 days after i signed up which really surprised me, so i was grateful for that. I just received payment for my last months earnings, payment was 2 days earlier then expected Glad to see i'm not alone at PAN
No. Maybe the nature of the business is such that not everyone needs to be in the same place. Why rent an office if you can just conduct all your business online? If the ads continue to be site-appropriate and the payments continue to be reliable, I'll be a happy customer.
News about PAN on Yahoo News. http://news.yahoo.com/publisher-ad-network-offers-fixed-rate-cpm-publishers-070733333.html
Here is my story with publisher ad network.. summary: -They will offer you a fixed rate cpm 1+ based off the traffic you show them -They will lower and renegotiate your fixed rate in a month lower time span,if your CTR isn't up to there standards which they fail to mention when they get you to make the switch. -So the claim to have a fixed rate but will lower your cpm at any given time if they feel they are paying you more then there making. -So by the time I stopped dealing with them they changed the CPM 3x from a 1+ to .70 less cause of CTR. I went back to adsense I didn't have time for all that bs and dreams they sell.
I was paid yesterday for July's traffic. I love this company so far. The CPM is on the low end, but as an end-of-chain agency (meaning it fills all the impressions ContextWeb, AdSense, etc., leave behind), I have absolutely never found a better deal. It's wonderful to have your ad money paid so quickly after the month is done.
