publicizing a directory

    Can any body has any idea how to publicize a web directory except throwing cash to other directories for showing my ad.
    If any one has any creative idea then please share.

    Post it to discussion forums that allow it, especialy those that have extra boards for that purpose. Make ad exchange deals with other web directory owners. Submit to "directories of directories".
