PTC site, worth opening one ?

    Hi folks,

    I was thinking to open a PTC site and I have a few questions.

    1.I saw that PTC sites like 'bux.to' have a bad rep. on the internet, why ?

    2.I searched on google a bit with no luck and still I have no idee where to buy a legal scrip from, I saw alot of people sell warez scrips, anyone knows a trusted site that sells legal scrips ?

    3.I am not planning to cheat or scamm my clients I whant to do a clean buisness, would this be worth it ? even if it would take some time to get a good rep.

    Any other comments and suggestions are welcome.

    There is no money in running this legitimately. That's why it's got a bad name.
    I think your best bet would be to create an informational site or blog. I have found that you don't have to fight to show that you are legitimate because you aren't paying anyone for anything. I think there are already too many PTC sites out there and no-one is legitimate on there. The users have referrals from their IP addresses, the advertisers underpay you and sell spyware and virus filled toolbars or are just looking to scam your members out of their money.

    It's not a safe bet for anyone.

    Check out Get paid to forum.. There are so many nice people there.. They can tell you what scripts are good and which are not.. But I think that starting a PTC site is a waste of time and your money. Consider starting a membership site. You will be able to market a lot easier and make money a lot faster. Plus there a much more honest and are run more so on product than work. Good luck!

    i don't see why advertisers would use PTC sites, since the traffic they receive could hardly be considered "targeted", and is basically garbage

    if you spend lots of time and money developing one like donkeymails, and it roxxxx, then you are looking at a lot of easy money a week with not massive amounts of effort (as most scripts like cash crusader are automated). The key is to attract the people who own small search engines or PTP sites/pages. they will consistently buy clicks, especially if they are good clicks. Thats the main problem people have - attracting advertisers as theres so many scammers about.
