In my experience, selling stuff online is not that tough, if we know how to play the card well.

    It just involve:
    1) Knowing what your audience are looking for
    2) Serve convincing content that suits them best
Tie them both with a proper psychology technique, and start making money like anything

In selling, "Not whether the product is good, but whether it looks good that matters".

Well technically speaking it's not that tough... you pretty much said it all in point 1 & 2, but there are some other important facts.

For example a very important point that you forgot to mention is "GETTING a targeted audience". Perhaps that's the most difficult and important part of all. Once you get a targeted audience, you can easily sell your products... you just have to give them what they want :)

Indeed, the key is to give them what they want, and when you do, just make an offer they can't refuse - a bonus, a money-back guarantee, a price cut, etc.

Most people knows how to get traffic or targeted traffic. But many fail to apply a right technique that will converts well. Most people thought that, as long as they bring any traffic back to their site, that would be just fine.

And that is the biggest mistake that most people always do.
