Psssst Don't tell anybody

I had read and heard so much about asking the wives (not all are blonde), relatives, friends, etc. to watch out for those Adsense Ads. Not to click them, etc..

Advices are frequently given that one should not to tell anybody about one’s website(s).

I’m sure Google would not like anybody who is related to a particular publisher to be denied of clicking those Ads to access those sites which appear interesting.

Many of my friends/relatives know about some of my popular websites. Does this mean that they have to copy those URLs (of the Ads) and click somewhere?

Must I tell Google about those many relatives/friends (and one wife) of mine?

    Some inputs please.

All your posts are about clicking on your own ads, using cybercafes to cheat, how to have your relatives click on your ads and similar ways to steal money on Adsense. You try to make them seem like questions, but it sure seems you are just trying to get all the info you can on how to cheat the system.

    Pathetic.

The ultimate result of cute tricks such as yours will be the demise of programs such as Adsense, which affects all of us. So if you want to make a few dollars in the short term and destroy the program for the rest of us for the long term, please don't don't post your methods on these forums. I would rather not know about you. It makes me dislike you and think of you as an idiot.

I prefer play safe, if you tell them you are in risk of getting banned...
What do you think is better, less money but for the rest of your life or taking the risk of being banned?

So you are going to email Google a list of your friends and relatives

    What good will that do?

I wouldn't even bother as they are going to investigate click fraud regardless of whether you know them or not.

Your best bet is if you make your income from AdSense, just don't tell anyone you know the specifics. That will keep them from trying to "help" you

PS. I merged your threads...I answered before I saw Frymans post

Tell your family and friends to NOT click on your ads and quit with trying to find a way to get around click fraud. Google has to many tools and data and what is the point. I would rather make my money giving a REAL service to my visitors than know I am cheating people out of money. Honesty is always the best policy.

    Clickfraud will never work.

I don't care if you have a army of people in cars using wireless connections around the country. I don't care if u use a different pc per click, I don't care what you do.

The bottom line is google know what the CTR should be, they know the history of your sites, they know everything.

You can't beat the system imho. If you want to earn money channel your efforts into creating good websites.

Malaysia, just remember once and for all:
click fraud doesn't work with adsense. Too many people tried no one succeeded.

There must be some people that have gotten away with it but the chances are they will be caought out if they continue. Some people probably get away with it for quite a long time if they know what they are doing.

to OP, if you would like to post something stupid like that, don't use country name as your nick. Its looks like your stupidity representing the whole nation. Whats your point in doing that? Try to give a bad name to Malaysian?

I'm so glad my friends and family are computer illiterate. It would probably take me an hour to explain to them how Adsense works anyway, and even then they just look at me dumbly. :)
