PSP Slim & Lite vs. PSP (Original)

So which one do you think is better and why?

 

The PSP slim. It's lighter than the original and you can plug it into television.

 

Could I ask for a link on where to buy the cable for this, I have been looking for it. Thanks.

 

I did not even know PSP slim existed. Id say save your money and do something useful with the money. Games are a waste of time.

Well they're not. Games is something I like to do for 30 minutes a day, leisure is an important part of life. People who have no fun are a waste of time.

 

30 minutes a day is hardly gaming And just because a person does not play computer games does not mean they are not fun. Anyways, I'm not bashing. Its just a friend of mine is addicted to x-box and he pretty much ruined his life.

 

Sorry, I didn't mean it to sound offensive, my bad . Well 30 minutes a day is gaming, it's just moderate gaming, but ruining your life is just pathetic - there is more to life than gaming.

i have a slim with the star wars battlepack that has vader on the back, personally the white doesn't look as good as black, and honestly i can't really feel the difference and i actually like the bulky feel of the old psp. although they did up there processor speed up to 333hmz or what ever before it was at 222(but there was a way to hack it to do 333).

But word of caution.. if your gonna buy the new psp slims, go with the entertainment packs but no matter what don't get the star wars one, although the game is kick ass and the white psp is up to you you are getting a lot of stuff different.

The daxter entertainment pack comes with:

Silverish psp (its metallic looking, depends on everyone but the look isn't for everyone).

daxter psp game (which was rated good like 9/10 most of the time).

1 gig psp memory card (big thing you need with psp 1 gig is a lot and you need it to save games)

ac power cord / charger / battery.

Family guy UMD movie.

same price: 199$

if you aren't a die hard star wars fan your best bang for your buck is the daxter entertainment pack. I am not sure but i think why the star wars one was going for the same price because its limited edition? i'm not sure. Hope that helps

Well I got the PSP Slim & Lite the other day, and I am interested in putting custom software on too, and I got told to get a Pandora's Battery before I do so. Why? And could you give me more details on what it does. Thanks .

I ordered PSP slim(daxter pack) off amazon.com . The new PSP comes with 3.60 firmware. You no longer need 1.5 firmware to play downloaded games. M33(dark alex) has released a custom firmware 3.73-m33 but you can only downgrade slim version using pandora's battery. you can get one from ebay.com for around 60-70$

You can make your own Pandora battery...if you have the Old PSP but it should be a downgraded one
