What is the world coming to? I think slave labor during ancient times was more rewarding back then compared to now... I guess there isn't anymore money in xhtml/css if it has dropped to these standards ($10).

For $10, i can spend only 10 minutes and i'll be able to give you back the sliced files of the psd (no coding involve) since basic html coding will cost atleast $20 and anything to do with xhtml/css is $40+.

So yea, i can do it fairly soon for the amount of money you're offering!

vahsi000, thanks for your advice. Im glad you feel special.

I need to make profit from selling wordpress themes and the only way to do so is to get a good deal. I have already paid $40 for a psd, now I need to pay $40 more for someone to slice it.. Thats great.

So now I have $80 invested, and I have to put the css/xhtml into wordpress myself. So I would have to sell a wordpress theme for over $100 just to make a $20 profit.

This really wont work, who in their right mind would pay $100 for a single wordpress theme.

Many people spend over $100 for a Wordpress theme. You're buying a good quality product and at that price it is a bargain!

why don't you just have the designer slice it as well...you'd save money lumping all of the services together typically.

CSS conversion from a psd file is not something you want to skimp on with quality which will happen if someone tries to do a hurried job for a quick $10. your css prob won't be cross-browser compatible or validated.

you get what you pay for i suppose...:/

    good luck.

Thats for the advice. My designer doesnt know how to slice, perhaps I'll find one in the future who can.

I already code this coded once into tables, when I needed divs. I am running out of money to invest, thats why I need it so cheap.

Then maybe you need to rethink your business plan. I can download high quality free wordpress themes, what would make me choose yours over the free ones???

I can code that PSD to a standard WP theme for $60 if you want. XHTML/CSS valid, checked in IE6, IE7, Opera, Firefox and Safari. Let me know if you're interested.

Here's a basic formula that any employer/business person can understand, Effort + Time = Money...
Also, here's a solution to your problem, why don't you learn how to code xhtml/css yourself and make an extra $10 of profit for yourself?

Hey vahsi000, how much would you charge if I ask you to convert PSD to WordPress CSS/XHTML?

I think this business works more for people who design and code or at least code. If not you won't make much money.
