Ps3 Or Xbox 360 i cant decide which to get

SHould i get the ps3 or the xbox 360 and price doesnt matter and i will not be using online play.

Also what it your favorite game for which console u pick thanx

 

I like Xbox360 games better but I RARELy play so I'm not an expert in this! What console did you have previously?

 

Buy the Ps3 and then the xbox 360. Why not buy both and play the Ps3 one day and the xbox 360 the next.

 

Well ive played the 360 alot but not the ps3 but every1 i talk to says the ps3 is great and the best yet with the game motorstorm

 

I am not an aficionado either but if I were you I'd visit a store if you can and play both for yourself

That's a lot of cash to drop without a test drive

 

Xbox 360. Gears of War. Nuff said.

 

360. Ever played on Xbox Live? Greatest online system ever. Plus Gears of War like chant said and Halo 3 later this year.

 

I would say get the 360 now, since it has an established library of good games to choose from. Then, since you said price doesn't matter, I assume you'll be able to pick up the PS3 at a later date

 

Buy the 260 now and get an Xbox later when it drops in price.

 

Get the 360. PS3's overrated, and there aren't any good games for it anyway.

I say buy them both. But buy the 360 first because it has a more established library of games then the PS3 after it catches up with the number of titles available.

 

Well the ps3 u can play ps2 games on also

 

Xbox 360 is far more better than PS3 in terms of Graphics etc..
My suggestion would be go buy a Xbox 360

 

Xbox 360.. Dedicated fan, also when you get it i'll be able to beat you on any game you like with live. <- Live is awsome. PS3 might have some better stuff, but overall, xbox 360 is better.

 

360, without question - the one year head start its had over the PS3 has done it a world of good; now it boasts by far the best online play of any console out there; a great selection of varied games and exclusives, and you can pick up a good deal on it.

PS3 is, in my opinion, a waste of money right now - its launch titles consist of either the same stuff as available on other systems, or a few exclusives which are nothing more than mediocre. Their future lineup leaves a lot to be desired too, with the only real exclusive "big" games being Metal Gear Solid and the Final Fantasy series, however with the rate that Sony are losing their exclusives to other systems (ie Devil May Cry, Grand Theft Auto etc), I wouldn't be surprised if we see those titles on the 360 too.

The only real reason to buy a PS3 and pay the huge price tag is if you desperately want a Blu-Ray player - as the cost of those on their own is far more than that of a PS3 (which, if you didn't know, has a Blu-Ray player built in).

 

Im not getting any system for the live - im just getting it to play and i like the fact that the ps3 has a blue disk player in it. The 360 might be better but its to addicting and i dont want to be playing it too much

 

If Blu-Ray is a big deal for you, then PS3 is absolutely the way to go - Microsoft have stated they will only consider releasing a BR-drive if the format turns out to be successful.

If you actually want the best gaming experience, get a 360... or a Wii... or both (since you can buy both for the price it'd cost to get a PS3!)
