Just had a couple of questions and hoping for some comments on others experiences with PRWeb.

I released a press release this morning:

    My stats so far:
    Ed score: 4
    Reads: 13,546
    Estimated pickup: 205

I dont know much about the distribution aspect, are these numbers "good"?
I've also noticed that my press release already appears in Google News at least 6 times.

What has been your experience with press releases..traffic jump, quality backlinks, new registrations, etc

I used it and went with the $120 option. Only thing i got was a great link on textually.org that sent me well over 20k hits

all in all id say it was worth the 120 bucks.

Those numbers are ok. You get a bunch more exposure from your releases if you go with prwebdirect and spend about 600 bucks - plus they let you put anchor text links in the body of the release.

I released one with prwebdirect on Feb 1, here's my quick stats: 243,896/1,672/1/90/115

Most of that action occured on the first day or two... it really slows down quick after that. A quarter million reads is pretty darn good tho

I spent almost 900 on prwebdirect.com to get those kind of numbers, plus my press release was actually newsworthy (had to do with the deficit reduction act just passed by congress). My smaller press releases usually get less than 50k reads when all is said and done
