PRWeb and fake news - bad idea?

    Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice. I recently started a spoof news website which is starting to get some traffic, but it's still only trickling in. I was wondering, if I was to use one of the - obviously fake - articles as a press release and put it on PRWeb, are there likely to be an consequences of this? Obviously it's not real news, so is it likely to be frowned on?

    Cheers,

    Baz

At the end of the day its up to PRweb what they publish on their website. If they publish an article thats not true then its not your problem. Obviously you can't publish illegal stuff but false stuff should be fine.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Give it a try. They can only say NO. You can get some controvery going which is always good for your site.
