    People jump directly to proxified pages instead of having to start from the proxy home page thus too much uniques with much less adsense impressions ;)

    It's still strange that people don't browse much (4 pages/visit) which is too much low for proxy sites where some average +100 pages/visitor and sometimes up to 300+

    Yeah but despite the extra impressions you're still not really getting any money 'cos the traffic is somewhat not targetted. The bounce rate must be really high 'cos people were looking for something completely different and ended up at your proxy due to the hotlink redirection..

    I used to have exactly the same thing going on with my proxies so I used robots.txt to get rid of the indexed pages that were giving me this hotlinked traffic that doesn't convert to revenue. After that you end up with almost no traffic but revenue is the same, you just have more bandwidth to spare. :p

    Yeah but what use is that if they don't click 'cos they're not targeted at all? You'll just end up smart priced.
