What is the best proxy how-to/tutorial in order to surf anonymously for privacy purpose?

I just want to use a proxy to surf anonymously

I used the trial version of Anonymizer.com (something safe) but I noticed that the proxy server was detected

I guess it is the same thing with softwares like Iprivacytools.com and so on

Is it possible to get something safe and powerful?

 

I guess ultrasurf should do the trick here. I guess you get it free.
