Hey guys as a fellow designer/proxy owner i soon came to the conclusion that there are way too many proxy topsites out there without any template design/customisation. So I decided to make my very own Proxy Topsite. I would be greatful if you guys can comment on the design and the functionality, as this is the first time i'm working with this script It is possible I might have missed something. Any ideas / tips and advice are very welcome. I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to read my thread. Vahsi000
Hello. Just did a quick review of you site. I like the thought you put into the design layout. I would recommend you shorten the height of the header. I just think that some people with an 800X600 screen layout would not be able to view your site properly. I know in some public locations... all their computer screens at set at 800X600. I think that if your ninja was a little bigger... and maybe your logo text slightly on the ninja would be a good effect... (just an idea) I tested the proxies. The seem to run a little slow on my end but they did the job. Mind you I am using wireless internet. It would be good to have your header on the proxy search pages... not the sites people are trying to access.. but the proxy search bar page themselves.. hope that makes sense! I hope this helps abit. Thanks for the great advice Lhlalyam, I've made some changes to the header for it to be compatible with lower screen resolutions. But I didn't completely understand what you meant by: "It would be good to have your header on the proxy search pages... not the sites people are trying to access.. but the proxy search bar page themselves.. hope that makes sense!" Agree with Lhlalyam's comments. He always seems to hit good points. One addition from me--might be good to have a color added to your palette. Something that would stand out and complement the dark shades...maybe a red.
Thanks alot guys for all of the great tips. Right now i'm focusing on getting people to signup to the proxy, any ideas on how i can go about doing this? I've already made a thread in solicitations thread here at DP.

Marketing: Focus on young people sites... like certain MySpace sites... see if anyone on DP here owns a good site with good real traffic from youth... they like using proxies to get through to sites.... You can purchase banner space from people Purchasing Links: I just finished giving away 4 signature links for 4 days. I'll do this again on Tuesday. Keep an eye out in the freebie section for this... Other people sell their links.. Check out youth forums... and purchase signature links there... SEO: get an SEO guru. I always recommend YouKay here at DP.
