I was told that X-cache and APC can be used to speed up any php site. Has anyone tried using either one with a proxy like zelune or phproxy?

i think you'll find it won't help that much, as alot of the resources used in a proxy site are collecting the remote websites, and delivering them to the client, while the script generaly helps php (caching wise), any improvement for a proxy type site would be mimimal.

Thanks. I read in a proxy thread, that it may help, so I figured I should ask first. Does Happy Proxy's caching impact both performance and bandwidth or just bandwidth?
