Why would anyone use a web-based proxy when they might as well type in a proxy server's IP address & port in their web browser? From the owner's point of view, proxy sites are abused, resource hogs, and from what I have heard, not an extraordinarily great source of revenue. A proxy site vs a content niche, I'll choose the niche. Thoughts?
You obviously don't know much about proxies then. A "Proxy site" uses PHP functions to allow the user to surf the internet with the host server's identification. Also, finding fast and free proxies you can simply enter into your browser's internet options are hard to find. Some proxy sites are very popular and can generate a lot of revenue. Like with everything, get it right you'll do well. Lee.
Alot of proxy users are school kids/teenagers and wouldn't know how too do it. Giving a tutorial on how too do it wouldn't really what kids/teens would want too follow either. Why read through a page when you can just visit a link. Click here to read a tutorial. Click here to use a proxy NOW. I know what I'd choose.
Don't speak to me condescendingly. I see you edited your post to follow up on your arrogant subintelligent one-liner And a list of such working proxies is a content niche! Hmm, you have a point there . So are we to assume that web based proxies are targeted towards uninformed web surfers?
Don't tell me what to do. I see you're perturbed because I spoke the truth? Do I speak "subintelligently"? Who's the ignorant one regarding proxies?
No, I'm perturbed because you bullshitted & flamed me back there without having a valid point. Yes, you do. Not me!
What I mean is. Most proxies are aimed at teens/school kids. The thread starter is saying, why not just copy and paste an ip and port, much quicker. For people who don't know how too do it, it means they are going too have too search up on google for a tutorial. Now, they can either ask their friends who are bound too know a proxy site. e.g. Ryan: how do I get a darn proxy thing!11 John: Visit myproxy.com for proxy avoidance. Paul: No, click here too read a long and boring tutorial. Ryan: I think I'll take John's option.
Ok well done eXe you proved you can use a dictionary. But that was not my point.. the point is, "bullshitted" is not a very intellectual word is it sunshine? So back to my actual point, it appears that ironically, you are in fact the one who speaks subintelligently, since you resort to vulgar language instead of giving a valid argument.
Thank you. And you did not when you flamed me back there. Words are generally used in sentences for communication, not for the purposes of trying to make oneself appear intellectual or keep posting on a thread to save face while in fact making no contribution to it. Read above.
*hugs* eXe. I can't be doing with any more arguments, I already have a nutcase on my back giving me: After I sold her a trainsubmit script which, just recently to my knowledge, is out of date. She also threatens a paypal dispute. I'm not giving her the refund until she asks politely and properly. Do you think Paypal will understand that?
