my post and details in my blog were NOT meant to be a complete how to build and run a proxy empire, but more as general info on my experience, and some general info in my first full month of running some Proxy's.

Of course, the info provided is of a reasonably general nature and is not what I would call specific. It is meant to show that if you work at it, you can make a few $ from running a proxy network.

Nowhere in my post did I mention the possible pitfalls or the admin work that is required to run a proxy - this is something that I will post more about in the future. Anyone who runs a proxy will freely acknowledge that there is a lot more to it than simply putting up a site and promoting it.

I totally disagree with this - please provide some sort of evidence that this is the case.

I have just provided evidence that this is NOT the case - I only started my first proxy site on the 26th Jan 07 - and over the course of a month have managed to turn a (small) profit from doing so. If the market was "most DEFINITELY saturated" then it would have been unlikely that I would be putting together a plan moving forward and I would have called it quits and bailed out of the proxy marketplace.

As others have siad, proxy sites get blocked on a daily basis, and every time a site gets blocked it is an opportunity for a new one to fill the void.
