I don't know why a proxy site wouldn't be allowed to publish ads by YPN, but you should give them a call and ask them yourself to verifiy that you cannot.

You can definately use YPN on the index page, I have previously and Yahoo still sent out the checks. Just don't put it on any content that doesn't belong to you..

Neither Yahoo nor Adsense allowed their ads to be placed on proxified pages. The reason for this is if the proxy is used to access ites that violate teh TOS such as pornography, or copyrighted materials then their ads are associated with that content.

Placing both Yahoo and Google ads on index pages, or other unproxified pages is however allowed.

I emailed google regarding proxy sites and adsense. They told you can use to display ads only on the first page, NOT proxified pages. You can not display other keyword related ads on that page.

I was always allwoed to place YPN ads on the homepage of my site, I got an email asking me to remove the ads from one of my proxies.

When I protested saying its only on home page not proxified pages, they said the site is not content based. I have a unique article about privacy on the home page, and that was not sufficient content because the general purpose of the site is the proxy.

So beware YPN is trying to get their ads off of proxy sites.
