I started two proxy servers about a week ago and they were rocking! the first couple days it was 1000+ views then it was 800, 500, etc etc and now im getting less then 200 hits a day... I am advertising in lots of proxy top sites and posting tons of times a day in yahoo and google groups... what should i do...
You've probably been blocked by the major internet filtering companies. Of course by advertising your proxy aggressively you will get more visitors but you will inadvertantly bring the censorship bots down on yourself. It is to be expected with all proxy sites that they will receive peak traffic in the first few days/weeks of existence. I suggest you continue to create new and original web proxies to increase your overall visitor count.
ouch... If im really blocked that sucks... cus i deffinatly havent made my investment back yet... I mean i only spen about 30 bucks for domains and housting of 2 proxy servers but still...
Heavily advertising a proxy is like asking to be banned and if you had words 'proxy' or 'unblock' in your domains, they get blocked quickly. Why not try stuff like enjoymaths.info or accountsonline.info, you get my jist? Just make sure its well hidden, its a tough business...
Unfortunately the proxy business is all about small margins and long term investment, if you expect anything else then you should probably stay out of it. Not to say money cant be made but you also shouldent expect results overnight.
something is true but without "proxy" keywords i think the CTR will drop , people come to unblock sites , many are kids are not interested about forex, exchange markets or surf Bahamas , they only want to surf fast and now...
