Hey, I just recently redesigned the layout on my proxy site in order to try to optimize ad placement. Please tell me what you think. I am really trying to focus on the bottom line with this, since the majority of proxy visitors are new visitors and not returning. So I can pretty much spam the homepage with ads. I would like to put some square ads on there, but if I did that, which should I take off, since I can only have 3? And how do you think the sidebar ad will fare? http://www.filtersneak.com Thanks
I think the single-line ad would work better on the top of the page. Not sure how good a sidebar would work, but I think you should change the design a bit if you want to add one. What other programs are you using to generate some cash with the proxy? I see the banner ad, is that just one static banner?
This is an old post and I have since drastically changed my ad positioning. But what do you mean, like put the text links in the gray at the top?
yes, and I see that you have already changed the ad placement. Do you have sepperate channels on them to be able to track if this placement performs better?
I'm going to fix the channels tonight for this upcoming week. They haven't really been working for some reason.
