Proxy Site Is Says Its Going To Sue Me!! Is This Real!?

    Well I just got this email this morning.

    My proxy is unlockit.us, am I doing anything wrong? I dont exactly get what he his argument is.

    you should be fine, but turn off hotlinking to be safe

    cool thanks but is that a server side setting or should I be able to find that in the source of the script I am using?
    Could I turn it off with .htaccess

    thats it was already set to

    'allow_hotlinking' => 0,

    so I dont see why that guy is threatening to sue me

    Is it just me or is SecureGet's solicitors a little on the unprofessional side?

    ... feel the full force? I've yet to hear any real solicitor use that kind of language in a letter. They also seem to be overly harsh in their threats/requests. That being said, taking a look at Secureget.com and it's appalling design - I wouldn't be too worried. :)
