I'm getting sick and tired of websites putting crap on my pc whenever I visit them. Not sure what sites they are - but today - my computer was slowing down and I found out a 3 gig program was on my PC. Hey - I didn't put it there...so from here on out - I'm surfing by proxy.

THe thing is - I don't know what proxy server to trust. They might take my financial info or put crap on my pc or whatever. Just wondering if someone knows of two or three trustworthy proxies.

Using a proxy server isn't going to protect your PC.

Using your sense of logic when downloading unknown files will protect your PC along with a good AV such as Avast.

Ever heard of antivirus? Most of them has an option to prevent unauthorized alteration of files. You can even enable the option to search for every file you downloaded.
    Just becareful when downloading warez.
Using proxy does not mean your computer is safe..NOPE!.
But if you still want a good proxy, go buy a VPN.
