    Hi all

I am one more doubt .

I am working in a company and i am behind a firewall and my comapny uses a proxy server. Now if someone click on my ads from my company will Google Ban me:eek: . I usually have some visitors from my company also.

When i checked ip adrresses of some of my company comp on www.myipaddess.com it shows the same ip address .. ie ip address of the proxy server i guess ..

    Thanks in advance..:)

What are the chances of someone from your company clicking on your website unless you asked them too? It sounds like you are asking to be banned. Google also has the ability to check more than just the IP address, so what are the chances the other "employees" from the "company" are going to be using the same computer?

Anyway, I would make sure you tell your friends not to click any ads on your site, and its probably a good idea not to even tell them your URL of any website you have just incase they feel like lending a helping index finger.

There are good chances of losing your position in this situation.

No you got it all wrong..
My company has > 40,000 emp.. I dont know each of them :) I never ask my friends to click on my ads. But i cannot stop others
Just that my website content is related thats why i was aksing. I will even mail google and ask them about this lets see what they say

Also every one has his own comp. the problem is we have a common proxy server.

It was just a query ...

    Thanks for the input

Ps: Some questions may seem dumb as i am pretty new to all these. I hope its ok with forum members. Still a lot to learn i guess

The google technology for click fraud is a lot more advanced than just checking the IP. If you are talking about different computers, combined with a company with 40,000 employees who use the internet on the same IP, then you'll probably be ok by emailing google and explaining your situation in detail.

WOW! What are your monthly expenses? I can't imagine 40,000 employees. Congratulations on your success!

Should not be a problem. Google would check for both IP and cookie information.

If you have not done anything bad, dont worry. should be fine. Again, if you really worried that the clicks are coming from the same person, same pc, then write to google, and ask them to verify and act. that should be helpful.
