One of my friend told having a proxy is risky because if someone usse our plaroxy and does osmething rong we will get blamed for it

    is it true?

But if it is what if i put a disclaimer like this :

"This is a free website which allows the visitors of this site to surf online anonymously.

The webmaster cannot take any responsibility for any direct, indirect damages or loss of data or profits resulting from the use of this proxy. A website viewed through this proxy is not in any way owned by or associated with this site.

These logs will be used only when your activities are in breach of our terms of service outlined on this page, or in extreme cases if we are required by law to disclose such data.

You may not use this proxy for viewing illegal content or carrying out any other illegal activities."

Yes, you can put on a disclaimer, and you normally will be covered.
However, if it happens often, law enforcement will investigate.

Even if they investigate, having a proxy service is not illegal. And if you have the disclaimer, I think you should be fine.

You won't get in trouble, I am just saying chances are, which are very HIGH, your proxy may get shut down, but that is unlikely.
