    Ok so i just got a new webhost :) and im trying to set up a proxy

    i dont mean a proxy site although it might have to be if i cant figure out another way to do this

    what im looking to do seems pretty simple to me i would like to run a proxy off of my webhost just for my personal use. i dont even neeed a webpage just a simple socks proxy will work but im at a loss as to what script to use how to set it up etc.

    It must work with ssl so i can order things and such if anyone can help it would be greatly apprecated

    Why don't you just set up and ordinary proxy and then have the proxy page in a password protected folder.

    I know there are plenty of free proxy scripts out there just google and you will get some results.
