I haven't been able to get rid of the check boxes. How do you guys do that?

 

I think a proxy user is coming to the site to surf, not really for info, and one site design will probably stick out better than another. Don't try to make it difficult to find the Input box, and not too many ads.

anj109: I do not believe I made that claim, as I do not have a proxy site [yet]. I do however own a wide array of subscription sites, and a very small amount of paid advertising sites.

On a side note, I'm shocked to see how many proxy users there are throughout a daily basis, but my question to the owners is;
With the on-going growth of proxy sites, do you find the margins to thin to work around freely? Or, is there a huge demand with little supply?

Just lauched 4 new sites a couple of days ago, all with different promotion campaigns, top one is already doing 20,000 pages a day on about 400-500 uniques, others not as much, so there's definitely demand there, plenty of proxies around as well, but a good site gets traffic.

Question though, perhaps to others, if I can throw it into the mix: what's the best advertising for the proxied pages? Obviously adsense on the main page but I'm looking at ways to convert in the top bar on the visited page. Trying Adbrite but zero return so far. DomainKing, perhap you've got some recommendations from your other sites?
