Proxy Newsletter: how big before I market? how much should I charge?

    Hi,

I currently have a growing proxy newsletter. Users signup and receive a simple text email each morning with 5 proxies listed for that day. No spam, or other ads. My question however is how big (number of newsletter members) should it be before I start marketing the five links for sale?

Also, when I do start to market these 5 links for sale how much should I charge per link per mass mailing?

I appreciate all input and am especially interested to hear from proxy owners that would take advantage of such a marketing opportunity.

Try $1 sales up until 500 members, then $2 per email.. up to 1000.. then $3 per email.

By the time you get 5000 emails, you will be making $11 per email blast per day.

    I might just try that.

Anyone else have any input or suggestions?

    Hi there,
I'm not completely familliar with the proxy business, but if you work in a similar fashion to a standard newsletter, the size of your list is secondary to the responsiveness. If you can track your open rate and click thrus on each link it will give you an edge over your competitors and allow you to charge a premium price for your advertising, if it's warranted.

    Enjoy your day!
    Terry :)
