I am looking for a couple of questions to be answered.

    1. What is a good amount of proxy sites for a network?

    2. Who is a good hosting company to go with?

3.Is 1000 impressions per day good for a new proxy, thats been up 5 days?

    4.Is 17 clicks from 2000 views a good balance?

5.How much would a proxy network that gets 1000 impressions a day sell for on average, saying it makes $2-$5 a day.

6.How many proxy networks do you own?

    Thanks Will.

Hey willyboy, i have a proxy guide which explains how i made $12-$15 a day with 3 decently popular proxies. If you'd like a copy, check out my thread:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=548651

I don't want to give away the contents of my book, but for #4, no, thats a low CTW, for #5, probably $150.

    Thanks

The thing about proxies is once they get blocked by websense and other connectivity software, your proxy becomes worthless.

What dprundle said it is true, but this doesn't mean you have to give up. Built proxy networks because many people are making money from them.

1.) any number of proxies is good, I have over 50 in my network. Obviously the more the better, kind of a subjective question...

2.)thewird here on dp aka wdservers.com is who I host with. I have carefully researched and tried multiple hosts and they are my pick.

3.) yes 1000 impressions is good for a new proxy. However working harder you can get more.

4.) 17 clicks from 2000 is a bit low, but not horrible. I typically see at .5% to 2% click thru rate. Yours is .9 roughly. So not horrible, but can be improved a bit.

5.) Proxies typically sell for 2 times their monthly income so if it makes $2 - $5 per day it is making between $60 - $150 per month so it would bring roughly $120 - $300. If you can narrow that down to a more accurate figure then your good. 5 days is really not a reliable figure as weekends will drop and proxies can vary some thru the month. Give it a month and get your real stats and you will know for sure.

6.) I only own 1 network although I have a domain reserved for a second should I ever want to do more then one. I have 50+ proxies in my network and made over $700 profit last month.

7.) Feel free to check out my proxy guide. It is free and it will tell you everything I do to work on my proxies. http://www.buildaproxy.com

    Hope this helps.
