it's a bit strange to sell a site that earns $1200 per month with only $4500... this is less than 4 months revenue.... are you hurring to sell ?

This looks like a very interesting sale but there are various factors which you need to address first.

In regards to the 80 uniques one day and 3000 the next, I upgraded my hosting package and they started everything fresh, I can forward you the hostgator upgrade confirmation emails if you like. I actually had to upgrade my account due to the fact that I was getting too much traffic so I needed a plan with more bandwidth. Easily understandable. Also with it increasing to 6000 the next, that was probably because the 3000 was on a weekend, if it was the 3rd or the 2nd then it was on a weekend.

In regards to whatever fishiness some people think is going on with the screenshots, I swear on my life, and the lives of all my loved ones that I DID NOT change any of the stats in any of those screenshots.

If you have any other questions let me know. I actually normally sell sites on eBay, and never really knew about that 5 month revenue or 10 month revenue thing until I got here. If you look on eBay you'll see sites that make $1000/mo sell for $1500 so I am really unsure of the value they get here. I would be happy with a $4500 sale, because I am selling this so I can put a lot of money into marketing for my new dreaming site: http://www.Lucidly.com. I am kind of selling off whatever assets I have so I can put money into my dreaming site as I want that to be my sole income source as I am very interested in dreaming and like running that site a lot.

Anyways, I don't think there is any question about fishiness anymore. The buy it now of $4500 is still open, as I am officially launching my dreaming site in a week or two and would really like to get the marketing going soon.

Also there seems to be a mystery as to why 85% of the traffic is coming from interstitial ads on adverex.com despite the seller not using it.

I am not trying to bash this thread - I just feel that these are valid points. I do feel that the seller is genuine and trust that he will elaborate on the above issue.

No I never said I didn't use it, I said that my web developer might have ran a campaign for the sites as he helped me get everything setup. If my web developer didn't run a campaign for it then I don't know how that happened, but it is certainly not essential to marketing.

I have contacted my web developer, and he said he only purchased one campaign, a $79.99 campaign at adverex so monthly advertising is still under $300/mo. Anyways, do you have an offer?

 

It would be nice to get a tally on the budget being dropped on adverex.com monthly so it can be factored in. Were you getting this info by looking at referrer stats? And how did you arrive at the figure for the adsense monthly budget?
