I need hosting to host 100 proxy domains I bought to host phproxy on them. Can someone give me some deals on hosting please
I think your looking at a reseller, and I will be happy to previde you with a reseller. www.speed-networks.net or you might be looking for a VPS, in that case look at slhost.com
My basic plan I have is 1GB and 50GB Bandwidth [for $10]. Hosting specs on itunnel.info [This isn't dodgy shared hosting] - if you need more [which I assume you do] prices will be different.
Hello, We allow proxy hosting on our vps and dedicated servers. So, initially you can host your proxy site on our vps but if it start using more CPU resources then you have to move on to a dedicated server. To check our vps plans visit http://www.webhosting.uk.com/vps-hosting.php For more info contact us through our website or pm me.
I would seriously suggest a huge Dedicated server. I'm only hosting 5 proxies on my server on LayeredTech.com and it overloads sometimes. If you want to have your sites down every 2 minutes, then resellers and shared hosting are a good bet.
I'd suggest layeredtech, they have a few good specials on at the moment, oh and also, you could be looking at 5-10 dedicated servers. I host 5 proxies and my server sometimes has troubles coping.
Can you tell configuration of your servers and source of troubles (memory, CPU, etc.)? I'm going to buy dedicated server as well and want to know what I need for few proxies. Thank you.
Well now it doesn't overload anymore as I have configured it. I got a deal that was only available for a limited time but it works. 1500 GB bandwidth, Intel 2.66GHZ, 1GB RAM, etc etc.
Intel Core 2 DUO 6300 (dual-core CPU) 2GB DDR2 RAM 200GB HDD 100Mbit port - Unmetered transfer setup time - within 24 hours FREE SETUP - $209/month
I think I will install PHProxy. Any recommendations about operation system? Layeredtech offers: CentOS 4.x X86_64 Bit FreeBSD 5.X X86_64 Bit OpenBSD 3.X X86_64 Bit FreeBSD 5.X FreeBSD 6.X Fedora Core 4 Fedora Core 5 Debian Stable CentOS 4.x OpenBSD 3.X NetBSD 3.X CentOS 3.x Select One CentOS 3.x X86_64 Bit NetBSD 3.x X86_64 Bit FreeBSD 6.x X86_64 Bit Fedora Core 4 X86_64 Bit Fedora Core 5 X86_64 Bit Ubuntu Server Edition (6.0x) Fedora Core 6 And what about control panel? Which one you recommend? I do not want to spend a lot of extra money unless it's necessary. None Plesk 30 Domains [price: $12.00] Direct Admin [price: $15.00] Ensim - 20 Domains w/ Power Tools [price: $17.00] Plesk w/ Power Pack 100 Domains [price: $25.00] CPanel/WHM Fantastico [price: $25.00] CPanel/WHM Fantastico w/ RVSkins [price: $28.00] Ensim - 100 Domains w/ Power Tools [price: $30.00] Plesk w/ Power Pack Unlimited Domains [price: $35.00] Ensim - 250 Domains w/ Power Tools [price: $45.00] Ensim - Unlimited Domains w/ Power Tools [price: $60.00] And last question: I do not know much about dedicated servers and want to know if it's hard to manage the server. In other words: does it usually works smooth or I have to learn a lot to keep it alive?
I would suggest you look for managed servers. Especially if you are looking to host such a number of domains and having no experience in managing a sever it won't be so easy for you. And with 100 domains be prepared to use some dedicated servers when traffic start to increase. Managed is the best option.
Here is my offer for you(This is only 1 plan, we have 3 more): 500 mb space 50 gb bandwidth cPanel included $6/mo. Let me kow if interested in this or other plans.. Thanks
