I finally received my refund after 1 week of stressful hassles with this company. I'd suggest you to kindly speed up your response timeframe and enhance the quality of the support you offer, for the sake of your present/future customers. :)

I requested a refund via DP, e-mail and opened a ticket. What do I get? The account gets deleted and my ticket is closed but the refund part is ignored.

No offence for butting in but this company seems really rude.

Instead of holding onto the customers money why not just refund them.

Plus get another member of staff to sort the backlog of tickets.

If one of my customers asked for a instant refund they would get it.

2000+ customers is alot i understand but you should really hire someone to manage the load.

My company has only 3 employee's and we have over 200+ customers. most of them send tickets everyday and they get replied to.

Also i noticed a little something on your server status page about the port numbers.

If you were a good host like you claim you are you wouldnt display these port numbers as you should know that they are open to attack at any point.

I also have to say that 1GB of ram isnt enough for proxy hosting. I'd recommend you upgrade your server to at least 4GB and upgrade your processors to Quad Xeons.

Dom, I dont agree with you about the port thingy.

These are common are ports and ARE required to be opened always for the server to be accessible by public.

These ports are known by ALL webmasters:
    2082 - cPanel port
    2086 - WHM
    21 - FTP
    80 - HTTP
    443 - HTTPS
    POP3 - 110
    SMTP - 25
MySQL and DNS ports, though are not kown my common users. But I dont nothing is worng in showing unless you've showing up your SSH port :p

As far as it goes with those ports the most crucial one is the MySQL port.

That port can be injected easily.

But do you agree on my other points?

    yup:p

See, 2000 customers and running proxy site on server with 1 Gig RAM

Also, looks like greedy for money as 2000 customers at an averga if even give up $5/month gives income of $10000 per montha nd why dont he gets some people hired:confused:

If i had over 2k customers i would definatly think about getting more staff.

At the present time we have 2 workers including myself.

I work 18 hours a day as its my company but the other 2 (Casey & George) only work 9 hours a day in split shifts.

With $10k + per month i would get some new servers. Co-Locate them at stargate which are fab at what they do i would also branch out to a new venture.

Also isnt it the first cardinal rule that if you offer a "REFUND GUARANTEE" that you must keep the funds available before you spend them?

Im not greedy for money but more would be nice.

Im happy with customer base at the moment and im aiming to get some DP people on board.

With running a proxy site on 1gb ram and dual processors its a no go.

If my old hosting company boss learnt that i did that. I WOULDNT BE AROUND TO TELL THE TALE!

Only if you have load balancing server, then dual processor is fine as well

And what are the chances this bloke doesnt use load balancing.

    100/1 - I bet $1000 that he doesnt!
