I subscribed to your web hosting two weeks ago and I have paid you the monthly fees ($17.50), yesterday, you erased all my data and I got the account suspended message for all my sites hosted in your server. This seriously impacted my online business. I sent you many emails/PM and you ignore all my message. I know you login to this forum today at 4.33 pm, please don't tell me you don't see my PM. Please fix my problem ASAP by today else i will give you a bad itrader here. It is hard to believe you want to run away my $17.50 . If you are not interested to provide me the web hosting service, just say so and give me time to move out my web sites instead of deleted all my web sites in your server without any warning and notification, this is very irresponsible !!
since you totally ignore all my PM and email, i have no choice but gave you a negative itrader. I really don't understand why you did this to me. If you think you don't want to host my sites in your server, just tell me and i will move out my sites and look for other web hosts. You can't just delete all my sites without any notice and just walk off like that. I have opened a dispute in paypal to get back my hosting fees from you !! what a big liar you are and shame on you !
The fact is you suspended my sites on 10 May 2007 until 13 May 2007 without any notice, my visitors and I got the "account suspended" message for all my sites hosted in your server when they accessed them. Furthermore, since 10 May 2007, I can't acccess to my cpanel with my login name and password. Between 10 May to 13 May, I sent you many emails and PM to ask you to fix the problem but you ignored all of them. Only after i filed a dispute in Paypal then now you resume all my web sites and started to reply to me. But it is too late, i have decided to give up on your web hosting after not hearing anything from you in the past 3 days and I have gone ahead to get my own dedicated server today before you replied me (which you can see the traffics to my sites are dropping because i have changed the name server of my site to point to my own dedicated server). You act has caused all my sites hosted in your server offline for 3 days. I should have listened to one of the senior DP member advice to get my own dedicated web server which i can get good support and reliable service instead of getting those cheap shared dedicated server from someone else which could cause me many problems. Now, i learn my lesson here
Can you please explain why your sites used over 9 Gbs of bandwidth during "10 May 2007 until 13 May 2007" If they were suspended? I suspended your account for One hour after the cpu Load was at 8 out of 2 because of Proxapp.com
It could be some users are still accessing my sites even all my proxy sites (4 of them) were suspended because some users are not aware my 4 sites were suspended in the first place. Also, you can see the unique visitors are dropping from 10 May to 13 May (from 1574 per day (10 may) -> 676 hits per day (11 may) -> 113 hits per day (12 may) -> 10 hits per day (13 May)), this proved that my visitors are going away and never come back once they saw the "account suspended" message displayed to them when they accessed my sites. You are an owner of a proxy network, you should know how important to keep the proxy sites up and running all the time, once any of your proxy site is down and displayed some funny error message, users will forget your proxy site and go for other proxy sites since they are so many proxy sites out there in the internet nowaday. This is exactly what happened to my proxy sites in my case Also, i have sent you many emails and PM to ask you to fix the problem but you ignored. THis proved that i have given you ample time to fix my problem but you didn't. You only replied to me after i filed claim in paypal, this is a very poor support service from you and it is not something i expect when i signed up your service Also, you are providing proxy hosting here, how can you bring all my proxy sites offline because your CPU load is high ?? That is ridiculuous to me and it is a very bad excuse. Before i signed up your web hosting service, I checked with you many times whether you are over selling your server and you told me you did not so I trusted you and went ahead to sign up your service. Now, your reason made me feel that your server is over selling here. From your reply, it seems like you can suspend all my proxy sites anytime you like once you see your CPU loads is high. Let me ask you one question here, if you were me, do you still want to host your proxy sites in such a bad web host ? If you are offering this hosting service for free then you can do that but please don't forget i am paying you the monthly hosting fees here. I don't deserve that kind of treatment from you. Your reply further convinced me that my decision to switch host and filed claim to Paypal plus get my own dedicated server is the best decision i have made here !
you should not use that as an excuse to suspend your client account, please don't forget you are providing proxy hosting here which normally consumes high CPU resource and high bandwdth. If your server can't handle the load then you should not provide this proxy hosting service in the first place. Just my 2 cents input
You should have informed your client first or better point him to your TOS. If in your TOS you mention that you are going to suspend somenone's account if he overloads the server then you did well. But i can't find any TOS in your site regarding hosting and high CPU usage. Also as it was mentioned above you provide proxy hosting which means high CPU usage. So you can not simply ban someone because of that. That's my personal opinion.
The First Paragraph is bull, As soon as the site was suspended you went and Bought a Dedicated and changed the Nameservers on the 10th of May. I aint Over selling its just your site had used a TON of CPU resources.
If only one of my sites (proxapp.com) has caused your server CPU overloaded, you should have banned that site only instead of banning my hosting account that caused all my 4 proxy sites in your server went offline at the same time. That is like killing all my proxy sites business. Also, your account suspension came into a big surprise to me because it was not mentioned by you when i signed up your service and it was not in your TOS either. Also, If you have a legitimate reason to suspend my account , why you put me in the dark and never informed me before and after the incident, that is the thing that upset me, as a hosting provider, you should keep your customer informed about any major decision you make here. Well, you can continue to defend your position here but i am not going to reply to this thread anymore, this whole incident has caused me a lot of time and energy to fix. I would rather spend my time in doing more productive things here Thank you and good luck in your sales !
