Thanks for sharing. I have few proxies which are not converting well now. I'll try your suggestions.

 

I read this thread and figured I would give it a try. Although I have not promoted the site as much as I should, it is doing fairly well so far. I submitted my link to three google groups and to a few proxy lists. Traffic has been growing to the site daily; practically doubles each day. Adsense earnings aren't that great so far; however, I believe that is because of the terrible ads that are being displayed on the page. I suppose I need to reconfigure the channel I am using for the proxy site.

Hey delusion. I noticed that you started with a PR2 domain. Would you suspect results to vary much starting with a new domain?

 

Ok, having basically left my 2 proxies on autopilot after the whole promotion thing. They have achieved the following without me working on it extensively: (just been adding it to proxy lists every now and then)

topsii.com - $26.14 / about $3.3 per day - 550 uniques / per day
slozy.com - $20.00 / about $3 per day - 580 uniques / per day

Pretty good start since I haven't spent a dime yet on advertising, and I've only worked on advertising in the first 2 hours when they were launched (using the stuff I wrote in the first post)

Hotlinking is when people link to proxified pages on your proxy. Meaning people go directly to proxified pages without having to go through your frontpage / homepage. Hotlinking allows people to link images, files, pictures, basically anything downloadable through your web proxy, killing your bandwidth as the same time revenue. That is why you try to disable it!, so people have to go through your homepage first.

Nope, I started sloZy.com (newly registered) about 2 days after topSii.com and quite surprisingly it's doing better than topSii.com at the moment in terms of daily average traffic & revenue, so I don't think starting with a PR domain is an advantage.

I would, but I don't have a saved list as I've said previously before, I just went around searching for proxy groups. A few people think that I might be saving these groups or not sharing or whatnot, but seriously I'm not, why would I write a post if I wasn't going to help

Wow, I used this method and I love it. The first day I did at night and made $0.17 in about 20 min. Then the next day comes around and my earning shot up to $2.12, thank you for this.

I have loads of proxys and what do you think will be best

To submit groups of 5's to the groups everyday and do the same 5 on every group or just submit say 5 to one group and another 5 to another and so on

Are submit my whole list at one time

Also would anybody here will be willing to do the promotion to groups daily for me and if so what would you charge.

It would be a ongoing job for ever hopefully
