[Proxy GUIDE] First Day > $0 to $5, 0 unique hits to 1,200+

After recently selling freeproxytemplates.com, I've decided to document and test out a template from freeproxytemplates.com for the last time (might be finishing up in the proxy bizz all together.) to show you guys how easy it is to setup a proxy earning money on it's first day. NO paid advertising used yet (but will later to test out this experiment)

First off, I used template #8 + old PR2 domain lying around. Hosting from cloakhost.com (they're holding up so far)

Day 1:
Pretty much went to groups.yahoo.com, groups.google.com and joined the top few "proxy groups" that allowed members to post. Found roughly 5 groups in google + 5 in yahoo and posted an email about my site. I generally went for groups that had 1000+ members, NOT restricted & allowed me to sign up and post immediately.
(This is the exact same thing as buying proxy email blasts emails.)

Got my site dugg / stumbled - spammed my link a bit in the freebie section.

Stumbled around DP and found a great deal I couldn’t pass up on: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=487508 - a link from unblockmyspace.com in exchange for 2 on my site. Being a premium keyworded domain for the proxy business, it’s a guarantee win win situation for myself.

Updated my DP signature, free 1000 backlinks thank you very much! Went around and submitted to free proxy listing sites around DP.

Hotlinked my proxy, ie: click on http://www.topsii.com/index.php?q=aHR0cDovL3gubXlzcGFjZS5jb20vaW1hZ2VzL0xvZ29Eb3Rjb20uZ2lm >> will go back to homepage, saves bandwidth. Only did this because, topsii.com pretty much wasted 7GB on the first day. Will tell you how the bandwidth situation is tomorrow. If you want the code for phproxy, PM.

Didn't focus much on proxy topsites just yet. Will do later which will help out in SEO, ranks etc. However, did submit to a few.

Majority of the traffic is coming from those proxy groups. Mostly because they've taken my website link and posted it on all their blogs, (ie iran blogs which might kill your bandwidth.)

This is the fast track method to getting quick money. Most of the traffic needless to say is coming from Europe.

Also if notice your bandwidth getting destroyed, I always have a spare file index.inc.php which has the proxy url disabled (replace it for a few hours when you need to!)

Already after 20 hours, the site has reached 1,200+ uniques and has made $5 with google adsense. Expected to make a bit more tomorrow, could be less however!

Total time doing whatever I did to setup was about under 2 hours spread throughout the day.

Didn't have much time to do anything today really. I've just been monitoring the automatic traffic coming.

As you can see, the traffic is flowing in, not bad for a 2 day old proxy & it's already earning $5/day

For those asking for groups, I don't have a saved list for them, so I can't really help you there unfortunately. However I might find them if I have spare time.

And to those who have asked for the bandwidth mod for PHProxy, I will be sending it via group PM later tonight. (gotta see if it's worked first )

Traffic has fallen a bit, however the earnings are still around ($4 - $5). I haven't really worked on promoting the site at all though.

I also started another proxy site, slozy.com just to see if this was a '1 time wonder method', and it's fair to say it isnt, slozy.com pulled about $4 on it's first day - close to 1000 uniques on it's first day too!.

I'll give it a few more days to see what happens to the traffic on both sites, then I'll start promoting it excessively.

If you're using PHProxy put the following code in index.php straight after <?php

and just change "CHANGETHISTOYOURSITE.COM" to your own domain

I've also just started running some proxies, after seeing that the fad hasn't died down

unfortunately, I have class in ~30 minutes, so I can't do this work on my site yet.

I chose a different freeproxytemplate.com then you (#4 i think) but, I'll start submitting this around when I get back from class.
