Proxy CTR is too good to be true

Well I just made two new proxies, and they receive insane amount of clicks and CTR in the 1X range. So I'm thinking, this is way too good to be true.

I go to my friend google and searched... well I don't remember what I searched but came upon this thread http://proxy.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1176233488;start=all

    Which got me thinking...

People report receiving lower CTR while using EmbedProxy.com.
People are getting banned left and right for invalid clicks
I check my StatCounter and 85% stay for less than 5 seconds (which when I go through manually, usually stay for 0)

    Now the question is, why?

As shown in that thread.. when the person replaced Google Ads with AdEngage ads or Google look-alike ads, his CTR dropped drastically.

I will now try the reverse. Release a proxy look-alike with Google ads but a proxy which doesn't work and we will see the results.

Another idea I had. If I get rid of two of the Google Ad blocks (two large rectangles at the top of the page which should DRASTICALLY reduce my CTR) will it really go down?

Yeah, chances are your CTR will drop down if you remove those two ad blocks.
