I just launched www.proxosurf.com a few weeks back. I do like the simple design but i know that there is much work to be done, starting with a good logo. Hoping to get some feedback from everyone else. Thanks! Ryan L.
The gradients in your site needs work.. the white in the gradients are way too strong, change the opacity of the white to 50% instead of 100%.
yeah your site is looking cool but io think that you have need to change the background color which is effecting on eyes it should be white or gray or anyone else then it will look better i have just suggest you i hope you will not mind
hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I changed the logo today, have a look and let me know if you like it. I'll test out the proxy search bar to see whats up.
I personally don't like proxies with big, fat templates and HUGE TEXT on the input area. But overall it's okay.
Gradients need alot of work and the surf section messes up the site i just dont know whats wrong with it but something is. - Prilep
I have to say I like it as it is. Looks very Web 2.0 like. And I also like the contrast between white and blue.
Large surf box on the front page is fine... but your header takes up way too much real estate on proxied pages. I would scroll it back to just a small box with the URL and a box to the right with 'Change Options' and another one with 'Home Page'... this way, the options remain the same (and don't need to be re-displayed) unless the person clicks Change Options... If you do that, you could maybe even get a google adsense strip (just the titles) under your box... Just a thought
Site looks very clean, I would try a different size adbrite ad hoverever, as users may miss the options at the bottom. Ads placed right above, and below the URL bar seem to preform the best for me. Also more topsite = more traffic
I definitely agree with making all the options for searching "above the fold". Not sure if you've changed the gradients at all, but they look nice IMO. Nice layout, Good luck with the site
