Hey everyone. I was wondering how everyones proxies have been doing this summer. I see a lot of people selling there proxies to make a couple extra bucks but everyone who hasn't I am wondering if you are making any money. This summer started out slow with absolutely no one visiting my proxy but it seems that the traffic started to arise again and now i'm making inbetween $.50 - $2.00 a day even in summer. Just wanted to see how everyone else have been doing.
Hi there, I'm just starting up my own proxy network, during the baddest time i guess (Summer indeed). On the moment I have 2 proxies active and 5 are coming soon (within 3 days). I'm earning now 0.25-0.95 daily on those 2 proxies. Any tips maybe ? I signed up for toplists and submitted the link to 2 proxy groups.
Theres not alot you can do. Its summer its the wrong time for proxies. Mine are going to stay up but i'm launching a lot of other sites too.
I would probably have to say SEO market a little better. Seems I am going to do that with my new proxies when the next school year is coming up. Advertise it forum signatures, etc. If you want some more ideas message me and ill give you my aim, msn, yahoo, etc. so you can contact me.
Take the time during summer to SEO your proxies, work on backlinks, etc. Summertime is death to proxies. However, foreign traffic can keep you afloat. That being said, I had my best "summertime" day yet, today; This is from just one of my proxies.
Yes, proxies die during the summer, but it gives you a chance to prepare for fall. New designs, sites, marketing techniques, seo. It isnt all bad.
All businesses have their ups and downs its called seasonal variation. Don't stress proxies isn't the only market with a quiet period!
US traffic drop 40% from last month (still see some schools traffic though) but Europe and Asia traffic is increasing to fill the gap. Asia traffic (Iran, etc) clicks does worth something, it's better than nothing. Just keep your adlogger up since they tend to overclick
Traffic has been dropped to one of my proxy site but still I am making $0.2-$3 from another proxy........
I'm making about .75 a day from my proxy. I'm still hoping to get the average up to about $1. I figure if I can have steady traffic and hopefully get a PR before school starts, or shortly after, then I should be ready to make some better money come September.
