Proxies + Adsense

Is it worth it? - Honestly?​

Well were all about to find out.

I'm going to start a 30day (maybe more if it comes to it) test to see if proxies really are worth it.

I'm going to be using Adsense, Adbrite and Adversal to get revenue.

Please check the blog over at http://money-with-proxies.com/ and please register and provide feedback through out the test.

Also, for those of you that don't know me. I used to own VIP-Surf.in. That proxy was a bench mark to the industry. I still stumble over proxies using bits and bobs off it without my permission. So I know what I'm doing.

Also, and ideas and tips are welcomed.

good luck so how much do you hope to make and where are you going to get traffic from school and work is out so it might be hard to make some quick money

 

Not sure on what I'll make, but that's what the test will show. Is it profitable anymore?

Traffic will be from where ever I can get it. Every last hit counts.

It sure will be interesting, and it will finally tell us if proxies still are worth the cash or not.

I started my proxy a week ago, and I am near the $100 mark, I say its worth it, but it might be because the site is 8 days old and hasnt been banned from a lot of place. In two month, if I am still making $67 dollars, every eight days, I think it is worth it.

You should extend your 30 day, and dont test now seeing how massive people have school, college, and work breaks

 

I've been using adsense(few bucks so far) and adbrite on my new proxy for the last week or so. Adbrite however has opnly been on for 2 days($0.07 so far)

Right if you take a look at security-paradise.com and go to google, you will notice I have ads in the footer also .

Just coded it in, smoothly so the page loads as 1 instead of 3 partials (header, content, footer).

I'll be releasing it all very shortly on the blog, along with the theme.

I've made .inc files such as analytics.inc, footer.inc and ads.inc which you can simply paste your code into, to keep things smooth .

 

I think proxy's are worth it but to make some good money you need to have a lot which can take a lot of time to maintain.....

 

Well I want to see if 1 is worth it to start off.

I'm just adding a few final features before I release the codes and themes.

Gonna make a thread selling 5 links at the bottom of the theme, once all 5 are gone, the theme is out.

Using all 3 at once? Or one at a time? Im gonna assume all at once because you would wanna put something on the proxified pages and ya cant with adsense.
On another note, those might not be the best source of income for people. My proxies I sell to private parties and made more from that than anything.
For example one of my sites topped out at 15 a day. But I was getting tons of hits and they were mostly US (i tried to ban IP's outta the US)
So I ended up using adbrite at first and had 6 links each person paid me $5.00 a day. Now I sell to a certain individual the whole spot on one of my proxies for a nice chunk of change.....

But starting a proxie for 30 days I wouldnt expect much revenue. Mine have been up for quite some time. My newest one isnt doing great but its not that old. I think I found a way not to get banned from most places (crossing fingers but I havent had a drop in users)

 

You have to understand, most proxies will get banned from key locations within 30 days.

 

Sooner or later you get banned from adsense for having ads on proxy site. (even on homepage).

If your adsense account is valuable to you then don't put it in risk.

 

Won't be too hard to get another.
