Considering it takes the imagination of a rock to make such a site and everybody's and their cats are doing it, I doubt it will be profitable for very long.
Well it depends, go with a good host that has good uptime, being down for even one day can ruin your site. I earned $8-$16 a day with my proxy, and I earn $3-$5 on slow days If you wanna make some real one get a dedi server and have a 5 network proxy, that can be like $30-$80 a day. Make sure you ban sites like Iran, Iraq, China, and etc so you won't get smart priced. And if you get a lot of clicks report it to adsense, they tend to ban for "robot clicks." And proxies are risky, because your making a lot of money, but the visitors are most likely clicking it by accidents, so low conversions. It's not
Not for me. There have been days where I earned $15 per day (per site) in couple of days from creating the site. But now my proxy sites mostly earn less than 5 cents per click and very rarely $1+ clicks. They were not even able to meet the monthly hosting expense. Finally I have closed them a few days back and parked in Sedo which fetches a good revenue!
I have 4 proxies, but CTR is very small (0,79%), all sites have this template: proxies.pl, please review for me, thanks!!
Proxies are NOT ALWAYS LOW PAYERS. I don't know why people always say this, clearly it's something they've just heard, and decide to tell others it. In my experience, and clear in others judging by this thread, proxies can pay out VERY well. Obviously sometimes I get a few cents per click, but most days I see clicks of $1-2 each. If you have a good server, a proxy IS a good way of making quick money.
Can some one guide me how to ban China and Iran traffic? I have .htaccess in every proxy folder provided by my host but I am still recieving traffic from china and iran Thanks!
Proxies don't typically make very much money with AdSense, so I am surprised to hearcreports that some do. There are many risks, though - and technically, a proxy site is against AdSense TOS because there is no content.
There is on the homepage if you do a writeup about what proxies are, how they protect your identity, etc.
