    Sir,

I am Suriakumar doing projects in Providex language.

We have a web page in Providex. We do online payment etc in Providex. our web server is also Providex Web Server.

Recently We have decided to use Apache web server.

I have successfully installed. I am getting some problem when we have query string.

For your information if my page is

(URL address blocked: See forum rules):8080/MQ/MQ7000.HTM/?CLIENT=CWS01

This is not working. The same page is working when we view it from Providex web server.

Also at the same time if i remove the query string IE., "?CLIENT=CWS01" if this part is removed, then i can view it through Apache web server.

Some friends informed me that i have to use re-write module.

Sir, we have huge amount of pages working for years of time sucessfully. Since we switch to Apache , Whether i have to modify the coding by removing query string OR can i successfully run the pages without any changes to it ?.

    My Question

"IF WE HAVE A PAGE WITH QUERY STRING WHICH WAS DEVELOPED FOR SOME OTHER WEB SERVER, THEN IF WE USE APACHE WHETHER IT IS A MUST TO REWRITE MODULE TO CHANGE THE CODING OR DIRECTLY WE CAN VIEW IT BY CHANGING ANY SETTINGS WITHOUT MODIFYING ANY CODING ?"

    EXPECTING YOUR REPLY,
    J.SURIAKUMAR
