Hey Jon maybe the Google contextual ad bot is sending you toupees and hair styles ads because Mike Filasaime is in the serps too for coolestguyontheplantet. Maybe Google has developed a google bot with ia or a sense of humour and decided he needs one. These results are just based purely on inward links I disagree with the post about having the keywords in the domain I dont think it has very little value or helps at all maybe with yahoo and msn but not google. Look at results with billions of webpages for keyword phrases like online work online business etc etc
Does anyone have PR8 or PR7 directories to suggest... As I understand this PR9 directory remains secret.
There is always room for learning something new. I personally learned something new after reading his stuff. Granted it wasn't a huge thing, but still another bit of information on SEO that I previously didn't know.
If your up for a challenge.. try going for NO1 for the term Infopreneur only 180k competing pages in G. though this is harder than the coolest guy on the planet game pete
Hi Pete, good to see a KASHE here! You guys are really amusing! Hey, my free report is out. Do check it out!
check the coolest guy on the planet Statistics for google yahoo msn Youtube Video.google.com on one page here
Thanks Pete. I tried hard to get there, and it's paid off! Who knows how long it'll last. Google is rather fickle, but so far it's held for the last week or so.
Ok So I am very late to this whole 'coolest guy on the planet thing' I was actually on Mike Filsaime's site and he did a blog and mentioned the coolest guy on the planet thing and brad fallon and a challenge he issued and I went through and did the search only to find that Jonathan Leger was number 1 for the search term and this is somebody who's name I have never heard in Internet Marketing. I dont know if you find it a big accomplishment or not but I do.. So I went to your website and read a little bit from your progress report where u mentioned a Digital Point forum thread and I recently became a member of Digital Point Forum so I thought hey why not go and check it out. So I decided I would stop by and congratulate you on your accomplishment. I consider myself a student in SEO but I have read quite alot and learned quite alot on the subject. One day randomly I decided to search my name on Google 'Alexander Day' and I found out that I was like 5th for my name and I had no idea how I really did it, eventually retracing my steps I had realized that I really acquired alot of links with the anchor text 'Alexander Day' and now I am 3rd for the search term out of 86 Million other websites and I am aiming for number.. I now understand what it was that got me on the first page and personally it has opened my eyes to SEO. Search Engine Optimization is not hard it really is about sticking to the basics and applying what you have learned and thats it. Work at it day in and day out and you will eventually see results. Once again congrats Jonathan..
