To not be mean&horrible but to be honest I would think your forum would never be better than DP....

Is this aloud on DP? I am sure you will get a infraction or something for this. Your trying to take the DP members to your forum are you not? Don't you think DP likes to keep its members and its income that we generate for it?

Just my opinion but I don't think its allowed to do this....

If it was I would have done it as my forum is already quite large and DP members would join because of the activity mine gets!

I don't want to step on your toes or anything but you may want to ask a mod about this as if you ask they usually remove it without a infraction. I always ask on these sort of things. In fact I would be more then happy to ask for you if you wish!

We love dp but everyone must have courage in mind that " i'll beat Dp " , if you want to success with your forum.I know its hard but atleast you will be on some good level.Shawn will always be happy that his members are doing great..

Keep it up good work.don't get frausted about people saying "your forum will never be like Dp".Take Shawn as your idol and get going..

 

DP is much bigger than iTalkWebs, why are directories allowed to be posted then? Basically, it's the same issue here.

We might not be the biggest, but as mentioned above we will try and improve all the weaknesses we see that other webmaster forums have, they say you learn by mistakes, we've been watching these kind of mistakes, and hopefully we will try and improve these points. We will try and do our best, to be the best. Even though this might be very hard, hard competition but we will try

 

As I said I own such a forum and its got over 1k members and 16k+ uniwues monthly, it has taken months of hard work and thousands of dollars to get there and so you are right in that its a hard battle.

Basically get ready to go 12 rounds, if you think you will make it on 3-4 rounds you better pack up yoru bags. I am only on round 5 right now.

 

Don't worry, the leaders of this network (Including, me) do have the experience in running a well-driven forum, unfortunately we are pretty busy, but will dedicate more of our time into this project
