Protecting the Script ?

    I am planning to develop a new script for webmasters.For copy protection I need to do something.

    So what all I can do for protecting my script from copying ?

    Will encoding helps ?

    Any ideas are invited.

    Well i can suggest you ioncube, how i know no1 managed to decode code after its encoded by ioncube. But there is some disadvantages, but ioncube is safest way.

    Will it help copy protecting.Means, the script should not be allowed to be supplied to others without license.

    Can you please tell me the tutorial for ioncube ?

    Ioncube is encoder. It will encode your php source so no one will be able to decrypt it and view content. Currently no one decoded code after it was encrypted by ioncube. ioncube can be found here: http://www.ioncube.com/.
    It will only protect your php source from others to use it whiteout your permission. It will not prevent them from giving your script to someone for free ore for money.
