Protecting Keyword Lists

For those in Niche Marketing...I've been wondering something. If you are hiring someone to write articles/pages for you (1 keyword/page), there isn't any way to protect those keywords, is there? That writer can go take your keyword list himself and do what you're doing without all the donkey work you went through to get those keywords in the first place.

So are there any precautions one should take before handing over your keyword list to a writer?

If you want someone to write the content for you, you're going to have to trust their work, and work ethic. You can always give them five or ten keywords at a time and see what happens, if things are going well then give them more. Also, you could find a couple of different content writers and split the lists between them, so no one has the full list. I think if someone is interested in writing content, though, it's probably because they aren't willing to put the time and effort into building, maintaining, marketing and writing for their own site.
